A great resource for early years teachers and practitioners to use with 3-4 year olds, or 4-5 year olds. The pack includes a DVD of 10 Razzledazzle programmes, a CD of 5 programmes from the radio Listen and Play series, and a teacher's book including the rhymes and activities included in the programmes. Further suggestions for programme follow-ups are given, as are photocopiable sheets and a curriculum chart suggesting areas of learning that should be covered regularly and frequently: listening, speaking, music, story time, print, phonics and writing. If you enjoyed Sue Palmer and Ros Bayley's superb original book Foundations of Literacy, then this would be an extremely useful addition to your resources for developing your children's language and literacy skills.
